The Haitian Croissant is a curated cultural hub, spotlighting Haitian heritage via culinary adventures, travel, and specialized designs. We offer a welcoming space for people to engage with and appreciate the rich diversity of the Haitian diaspora.

Our Founder

Ayida Solé, “The Haitian Croissant”,is a versatile creative, blending her talents as a home cook, author, designer, philanthropist, and brand consultant for emerging businesses, personalities, and luxury brands. Originally from Cambridge, MA, she brings a rich background in both the fashion and culinary industries. 

As the proud daughter of a Haitian immigrant, Solé made her mark by establishing The Haitian Croissant in 2020 during her time living in Paris, FR.

In a recent endeavor, Ayida Solé self-published and unveiled "I CAN COOK: Haitian Fusion Recipes Inspired by a First Generation's Culinary Voyage." This distinctive Haitian fusion cookbook is crafted to empower novice cooks in the kitchen, offering a delightful journey through Haitian flavors.

Expanding her impact, Ayida Solé has taken The Haitian Croissant to new heights with the establishment of its 501c3 nonprofit counterpart, The Haitian Croissant Foundation. Committed to empowering Haitian youth, the foundation focuses on providing knowledge and tools for self-sustainability through the realms of arts, wellness, and agriculture. In doing so, it aims to enhance conditions within Haitian communities and foster positive change. Ayida Solé continues to be a beacon of creativity, cultural celebration, and philanthropy in her endeavors.
